About Me
Bio. At school I was the kid who was asked by the other kids to draw them a picture. Usually it was a car or a spaceship or even Garfield the cat, he was popular when I was at school. I've always been drawing for as long as I can remember. Then at my first Art collage (The Oval Annex) I began experimenting, I always enjoyed abstracted thinking and the importance of art containing a question or some sort of an idea. This is what made me make the transition into advertising and graphic imagery. My imagery became more and more graphical through the 1990's and the urge to subvert and play with messages via imagery became overpowering. At university I won a National Advertising award judged by Saatchi and Saatchi and I finally felt I had mastered the art of being able to manipulate images to convey a message. During the Start of my career I was fortunate enough to work on many press, poster and tv campaigns for high profile brands within London's best advertising agencies. As the Art Director I was responsible for conceptualising brand campaigns and producing beautiful full size print ready artwork. I have been fortunate enough to work with highly creative individuals within this field and have been responsible for many lIllustrations, concepts for print campaigns and brands. After moving away from the highly competitive advertising environment I retrained and worked as a 2D & 3D senior designer developing, designing and visualising construction projects for the utilities sector in 3D software. I have always found that I needed a creative outlet to express myself.
